Shanice Clarinet: I was born and raised in the United States.The english language is my native language. Writing, reading and music are all translated into english for me. I remeber in high school it was required for me to learn spanish but I didn't understand the lanaguage and how to pronounce certain words in spanish.The members in my family speaks english and I was raised on the enligsh language. The Study of Lanaguge is a tool to help people understand the development of language and it's background. From being raised on the english langauage I've always wondered how the lanaguage was form from the alphabet, numbers and word form.
